Spartanburg's Economic Futures Group Named Among Top Ten

SPARTANBURG, SC (May 9, 2011)—Spartanburg’s Economic Futures Group was recognized recently at the Industrial Asset Management Council’s Spring 2011 Professional Forum, earning the ranking of Top Ten Economic Development Groups of 2010. The group previously had been given an honorable mention in 2008, but this is the first time that EFG has been given this high distinction.

Odermath USA Inc. Announces New Facility in Spartanburg County

COLUMBIA, S.C. – October 13, 2010 – The South Carolina Department of Commerce and the Economic Futures Group of Spartanburg County today announced that ODERMATH USA Inc., a manufacturer of specialty wire, has located its new facility in Spartanburg County. The $3.25 million investment is expected to generate 12 new jobs.
