SPARTANBURG, SC — May 2, 2016 — The Economic Futures Group (EFG) is pleased to announce the addition of Kyle A. Sox as the Director of Business Development.
Sox joins the Economic Futures Group after serving as Global Business Development Project Manager for the South Carolina Department of Commerce, where he coordinated prospects and local professionals to promote economic growth in South Carolina, organized international marketing agendas to recruit companies, and coordinated state and local government for Governor visits, announcements, and groundbreakings. Additionally, Sox worked in financial control for Shaeffler Group USA in Fort Mill, SC, and was the founder and principal of real estate entrepreneurial partnership Ox Enterprises in Columbia, SC. Originally from Lexington, SC, Sox holds an International Master of Business Administration (International MBA) from the University of South Carolina’s Moore School of Business.
As Director of Business Development, Sox will develop and maintain relationships with statewide economic development allies, including the South Carolina Department of Commerce, as well as developing and maintaining relationships with national and international site location consultants, real estate developers, and others involved in locating operations. The Director of Business Development also provides a thorough knowledge of available resources throughout the county to attract and aid businesses.
