A job fair held in partnership between Spartanburg County's three career centers, SC Works Upstate, the S.C. Department of Commerce, Spartanburg Community College and the Economic Futures Group yielded some positive results.
The fair brought more than 400 job-seekers, including 75 high school seniors, to USC Upstate's Career Readiness Center. Students representing Daniel Morgan Technology Center, R.D. Anderson Applied Technology Center, Swofford Career Center and SCC were all on-hand.
The fair led to 33 jobs offers being made on-site. Seventy-two interviews were scheduled during the event with 12 taking place on site.
